Everyone can participate in the World Wet Plate Day web gallery. This is a short description on how to upload your image.
Create:
Create wet plate collodion photography photos (positive, negative or print) on a Wet Plate Day. Then pick one or two of your best results and get them ready for processing.
Process:
Create a digital file. You can scan or take a digital photograph of your work.
Please follow these guidelines when naming your file.
The Wet Plate Day web gallery can take web quality files. Web quality consists of a file (.jpg) with a resolution of 72 ppi (pixels per inch). The image dimensions can be as large a you want, as long as the file size does not exceed 250 kb. Please try and use a minimum of 600 pixels for the longest side.
Upload:
You can upload your processed file via this website (here). Just fill out the form, submit and we will put your image up there.
Wet Plate Day book and web gallery:
The images in the web gallery are NOT automatically published in the book. We need a print quality image for the book. Please read this page for detailed instructions.
